Handmade Ceramic Platters

I create each of my handmade ceramic platters slowly and intentionally, beginning with a simple slab of stoneware clay that I shape entirely by hand. These pieces have a soft organic feel that comes from the handbuilding process. You will notice gentle texture, subtle movement, and layered glaze patterns that shift with the light.

Many collectors enjoy these platters as functional serving pieces, while others use them as decorative centerpieces on dining tables, buffets, or open shelving. They also make memorable gifts for those who appreciate handcrafted pottery and the character that comes from small batch work.

 

I offer a range of forms and glaze palettes inspired by coastal calm and natural texture. From wide handbuilt serving platters for entertaining to smaller accent platters for table styling, each piece is glazed by hand and high fired for durability. I work with a variety of different glazes, which blend beautifully across these shapes.
