I created this decorative blue bowl from high-quality stoneware clay, shaping the form by hand to give it a soft, flowing rim. The ruffled edges remind me of ripples on water, gently framing the marbled glaze of rich blues that swirl across the surface. After shaping, I bisque fired the piece, glazed it by hand, and then high-fired it for strength and durability. Each firing creates subtle variations in the pattern, making every bowl truly one of a kind.
