In today’s world of mass production, it’s easy for homes to start looking the same. Big box stores are full of identical vases, neutral wall art, and safe, generic accent pieces. You walk into someone’s living room and feel like you’ve seen it a dozen times before. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t feel personal. What’s missing is something with character, that tells a story. And that’s where my pottery comes in.

Every piece I make is unique pottery that is handbuilt. I shape each piece slowly and intentionally, letting texture and form develop naturally. My wavy-style bowls, decorative vases, and sculptures are not meant to sit quietly on a shelf. They are meant to stand out, invite touch, and bring a sense of warmth, color and presence to a space. Here are a few ways handmade pottery can add meaning and beauty to your home.

Pottery Makes a Great Coffee Table Bowl This is one of my favorite placements. A sculptural ceramic bowl on a coffee table can completely change the energy in your living room. It becomes a natural centerpiece that people notice right away. Guests often reach out to feel the curves and ask what inspired the piece. Whether you fill it with seasonal decor or let it stand on its own, a handmade bowl adds life, movement, and personality to your space.

Decorative Ceramics Can Add Elegance to Your End Table and are often overlooked, but a smaller piece placed with care can bring so much warmth to a corner. I love the way a ruffle-style bowl softens the lines of a room. It is perfect for holding little keepsakes or simply adding a pop of color and texture. These small moments of beauty are what make a space feel thoughtfully styled and complete.

A Decorative Platter Can Lighten Up Your Entryway Your entryway is the first thing people see when they step into your home. A handmade ceramic platter adds something grounded and welcoming. You can use it to hold keys, mail, or small everyday items. Or let it shine on its own as a sculptural focal point. The glazes I use often remind people of water, shells, or sand. That connection to nature adds a peaceful, calming energy as soon as you step through the door.

Pottery Can Be a Beautiful Dining Room Table Centerpiece A hand-built bowl or platter at the center of your dining table brings so much presence. It anchors the room. Whether you are hosting a dinner party or enjoying a quiet meal, it becomes part of the experience. These are the pieces that stay out all year long. They are used, admired, and remembered. Some families have told me their bowl has become part of every holiday and celebration, and I love knowing it plays a role in their traditions.

Bringing unique handmade pottery into your home is about more than filling a space. It’s about choosing pieces that bring character, care, and intention into your everyday life. When you surround yourself with objects that were thoughtfully made, your space begins to feel more alive. I create pottery to help people make their homes feel more personal and connected. My work is inspired by the ocean, by natural forms, and by soft, flowing movement. I want you to feel that when you hold one of my bowls or see it in your living room.

If you’re looking to bring something special into your home, I invite you to explore my collection. Every piece is one of a kind and has a story to tell. And it just might be the finishing touch your space has been waiting for.
