Handbuilt Ceramics for Interior Designers, Home Stagers & Boutique Buyers
If you're a designer, stager, or boutique buyer looking for ceramics that disappear into a room in the best possible way, you're in the right place.
I'm Allison. I handbuilt everything in my Charlotte, NC studio, and I work directly with design professionals who need pieces that were made with placement in mind: the scale of a room, the texture of surrounding materials, the way light moves across a glaze. My work isn't mass-produced, and it's not meant to be. Each collection I create for a trade client is shaped by that specific project.

Common Questions From Design Professionals

Do you have minimums for trade or boutique orders?
Because every piece is individually handbuilt, I work in small curated batches rather than large production runs. Some designers source a few statement vessels for a project, while select retail partners may commission a larger seasonal grouping. Quantities are discussed based on the scope of the collaboration.

What are your lead times for custom work?
Lead times vary depending on scale, finish testing, and current studio schedule. Smaller custom groupings are typically completed within 4–6 weeks, while larger collections or boutique orders may require 8–12 weeks. Timelines are always confirmed before production begins.

Can you match a specific color palette or finish?
Exact duplication is never guaranteed due to the nature of high-fired ceramics, but I can usually work within a designer’s palette or overall material direction.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?
I partner with a limited number of boutiques, galleries, and interior design showrooms whose aesthetic aligns with the studio’s organic coastal sensibility. If you’re interested in carrying Allison Neiss Pottery, I’d love to learn more about your space and clientele.

Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. Allison Neiss Pottery ships throughout the United States. Local pickup can also be arranged for designers and clients in the Charlotte Lake Norman, and Fort Mill areas.
