I created this blue ceramic decorative bowl from high-quality stoneware clay, shaping it by hand to give it a graceful, organic form. After the initial shaping, I bisque fired the piece, applied layers of glaze by hand, and then fired it at a high temperature for strength and durability. The deep blues blend softly with touches of white, reminding me of waves meeting the shore. The ruffled edges bring a sense of movement and elegance, making every bowl one of a kind.
 
Measuring about 8 inches across and 2 inches high, it is the perfect size for an end table, shelf, or entryway display. I love how the colors melt seamlessly into each other, each firing creating a unique variation.
