This handbuilt ceramic leaf sculpture is created for those who are drawn to nature inspired pottery and want a sculptural accent that feels organic and grounded. I shape each leaf individually from high-quality stoneware clay in my Charlotte, NC studio, layering them slowly so the form feels alive and naturally unfolding. The veins are pressed in by hand, and the edges are gently lifted and folded so the composition has movement and depth.
 
After bisque firing, I glaze each piece by hand with a soft green finish that settles into the texture and highlights the raised details. The glaze breaks slightly warmer along the edges, adding variation and a surface that shifts beautifully in changing light. It is then high-fired for strength and durability.
 
At approximately 9 inches long and 4 inches tall, it works as a sculptural accent on a console table, bookshelf, or coffee table.
