I handbuilt this decorative pottery bowl from high quality stoneware clay, shaping the ruffled edges slowly by hand so the form could move and soften naturally. After bisque firing, I glazed it in layered tones of cobalt, violet, and soft crimson, then high fired it for strength and durability. The surface has a glossy, slightly iridescent finish that shifts with the light, reminding me of a tide pool at golden hour.
