This ruffled ceramic bowl is one of my favorite glaze explorations where movement, texture, and color come together in a way that feels both wild and intentional. I handbuilt it from high quality stoneware clay, bisque fired, glazed by hand, and high fired for strength and durability. The form is organic and sculptural, with a wide undulating rim that reminds me of a blooming flower or a seaform caught mid motion.
 
I layered a flowing blue green glaze over earthy undertones to create a surface that shifts with the light and draws the eye from every angle. The glaze pools and spreads across the folds, giving it depth and a sense of serene movement.
