I love creating pieces that bring the calm, fluid beauty of the ocean into the home, and this large ceramic decorative bowl is a favorite of mine. Handbuilt with care, it features gently ruffled edges that echo the natural bloom of flowers and the soft curves of ocean waves. I’ve layered oceanic blue and green glazes to capture the shifting tones of the sea, and a glossy finish brings the colors to life, reflecting light beautifully.
 
At the base, a hand-textured rope detail adds a subtle nautical touch, reminiscent of dock lines and sailing ropes, grounding the organic form with coastal elegance. Measuring approximately 10 inches wide by 5 inches tall, this bowl works perfectly as a centerpiece on your dining table, a decorative accent on an entryway console, or a charming addition to open shelving.
