I am proud to introduce this handbuilt coastal organic ceramic rope bowl, a piece designed to bring the serene, fluid rhythm of the ocean into your living space. As a ceramic artist working out of Charlotte, NC, I intentionally craft each form to serve as an elevated statement piece for discerning home décor lovers, interior stagers, and fine art collectors.
 
Every detail of this sculptural accent is deeply rooted in a slow, deliberate making process. I hand-coiled the entire form, meticulously laying each individual clay rope by hand rather than utilizing an extruder, which allows the organic variations of the material to shine. Handbuilt from high-quality stoneware clay, the piece was bisque fired, glazed completely by hand, and high-fired for lasting strength and durability. Measuring approximately 12 inches in diameter and 4 inches in height, its proportions make it an exceptional focal point.
 
The rich surface texture is enhanced by a complex, fluid glaze that breaks elegantly over the hand-laid coils, shifting from deep earthy undertones to peaceful seafoam and breaking blues. Whether featured as a commanding dining table centerpiece or showcased within a curated shelf display, this sculpture coordinates beautifully when you pair it as part of my sculptural ceramic collection.
